Co added to S01X7Ca-70M forms a barrier layer at the iron tip surface, which
inhibits erosion of the tip. S01X7Ca-70M significantly reduces wear of iron tips
compared to regular lead-free solder.
Reduces scattering of flux and solder
Scattering of flux and solder is much less compared to conventional
products; so is smoking. Ideal for robot soldering.
Ultimate cost reduction by flux-cored solder
Ag content of S01X7Ca-70M is 0.1%. Absolutely low Ag content achieves significant
cost reduction, assisting realization of ultimate cost reduction along with its erosion
inhibition effect.
